Plastic box factory to open in Zahleh

Cecin Plast, a recently established company, will open in summer a plastic box factory in Ablah, Zahleh.

Investment in the project is estimated at $2 million.

The total built-up area of the factory is 400 square meters (m2). The required machinery has been imported from China and Italy.

Production capacity rates will be 80,000 various-sized plastic boxes per.

Georges Abou Farah, major shareholder, said that the boxes are for agricultural use and will be distributed to farmers and traders solely in the local market.

The factory will create around five full-time jobs.
