Construction begins for Dbayeh outlet mall

Developers & Co, a real estate company, has begun excavation to build ‘Sights’, an outlet mall in Dbayeh. The project will be completed in summer 2019.

The outlet mall will be built on a 60,000 square meters (m2) land plot, with a 20,000 m2 total built-up area.

The two-floor project will include restaurants, pubs, and retail shops, as well as kids’ area, gym, and spa. It will also have green areas, mainly a 2,500 m2 banquet hall, and a 25,000 m2 outdoor park, which will have activities such as climbing, hiking, and skating. The mall will have a parking capable for 1,500 cars.

Developers & CO will build a medical center adjacent to the mall, in the second phase.

The company will invest around $12 million in the outlet mall in the first phase. Investment will increase to $16 million in the second phase.

The project will create around 500 job opportunities.

Negotiations have started with international brands, but so far no deals have been signed.

Developers & Co is owned by Rachid Tohme, Naim Sawaya, and Hisham Dib.
