The airline is expected to report a net profit of $100 million in 2009, out of which $80 million will be transferred to the treasury, according to the Chairman.
MEA operates a fleet of 15 aircraft.
MEA’s net profit soared to $92 million in 2008 from $62 million in 2007. The number of passengers increased to four million in 2008 from 3.4 million in 2007, Hout said.
