Spike in new virus cases
mostly from recent travelers

Only one case infected locally

The Ministry of Public Health said that 34 new cases of coronavirus infections have been diagnosed in the past 24 hours.

Only one case is domestic. The rest of the cases are from travelers recently arriving through special flights organized for Lebanese stranded abroad. These cases have been screened and detected at the airport.

The latest cases are from people traveling from Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar.
