Ministry of Finance releases T-bills
Demand focused on 24M papers with an average coupon rate of 5.4 percent

June 15, 2011- The Ministry of Finance (MoF) issued treasury bills (T-bills) worth LL736 billion ($488 million) in an auction early June.
The auction was held over the one-year, two-year, and three-year categories. Demand focused on the two-year papers that captured 69 percent of total subscriptions. The three-year and one-year categories represented 23 percent and 8 percent of total subscriptions respectively.
Yields remained unchanged on the one-year, two-year and three-year categories at 4.6 percent, 5.4 percent, and 5.9 percent respectively.
