Local artists sweep Arab singers' rich list

Seven out of the ten richest Arab singers are Lebanese: Arabian Business

July 15, 2011- Seven Lebanese singers were among the richest ten Arab singers, according to a survey published by the Arabian Business website.

As reported in the Arabian Business, Nancy Ajram was the second richest Arab singer with a wealth estimated at $36 million. Elissa came in third place, with an estimated $35 million.

According to the survey, Fairouz was the fourth richest singer with an estimated wealth at $29.5 million, followed by Majida El Roumi with an estimated $28 million.

Haifa Wehbe and Marwan Khoury came in sixth place with an estimated wealth of $24 million each. Amal Hijazi came in eight place with a wealth estimated at $23 million.

Lebanon-born singer Mika was the tenth richest singer on the list with an estimated $19.5 million.
