Spinneys to introduce e-delivery

Online shopping and delivery service to be launched by August

Supermarket chain Spinneys will be launching its online shopping and delivery service by the end of August.

“The service, the first of its kind when it comes to a supermarket chain, allows customers to fill their shopping baskets online,” said Ralph Kahi, group head of marketing at Spinneys.

Orders can be placed online through the ‘Spinneys delivery’ link or through the supermarket’s main website.

Kahi said same-day deliveries will be made for orders made in the morning, while evening orders will be delivered the following day.

Spinneys has seven local branches, they are: Ashrafieh, Hazmieh, Dbayeh, Jnah, Saida, Tyr, and Tripoli.

The supermarket chain operates both hypermarkets and supermarkets in Egypt, Qatar, and Jordan, and in the UAE through a franchise agreement.
