Telecoms and ‘Ijma3’extend cooperation

Union of Arab ICT Associations to advise and assist the ministry on technical matters

The Ministry of Telecommunication (MoT) signed a memorandum of understanding with the Union of Arab ICT Associations, also called ‘Ijma3’. The agreement is the fourth of its kind since 2008.

According to the MoU, the union will be an official advisor to the Minister of Telecommunication and to the MoT pertaining to ICT issues. It would provide the ministry with technical assistance within its capacities.

Antoine Boustani and Gaby Daniel were chosen as the union’s envoys to the ministry in order to conduct the consulting work stated in the agreement.
