Ogero upgrades DSL speed in North and South

Other areas will benefit from speed upgrades at a later stage: says Ogero

The Ogero Committee announced that starting Wednesday (October 12) it will upgrade the speed for DSL users by 1 Mbp in some areas in the North and the South of the country.

The committee said that the speed upgrading will extend to other areas once the required equipment is provided by the Ministry of Telecommunications.

The DSL speed upgrade currently includes subscribers in the following exchanges: In the North: Bohsas, El Tal, Mina, Bab el Tebbaneh, Halba, Amioun, Zgharta.
In the South the upgrade includes subscribers to the exchanges of Saida and Tyre.
