The Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI) and the Professional Computer Association (PCA) signed a memorandum of cooperation to exchange expertise and encourage the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in production processes.

The signing ceremony, held under the theme ‘The AI Revolution’, took place at the Malia Tower. Malia owns a company that has locally developed a number of AI applications.

According to PCA chairman Camille Moukarzel, the agreement has for objective to bridge technological advancements with industrial needs. PCA will offer expertise in cutting-edge technologies, including AI, cloud computing, and cybersecurity, to support industrial innovation and growth.

Selim Zeenni, Chairman of ALI, said that there is a pressing need for manufacturers to adopt AI-driven solutions. He said that the technologies are readily available in Lebanon. He envisioned the agreement as a step toward a brighter future, where Lebanese industries regain their pioneering role in global markets.

The Minister of Industry Georges Bouchikian urged Lebanese industries to leverage this transformative technology. He underscored the importance of integrating modern software to reduce production costs, improve planning, and expand human cognitive and analytical capacities while maintaining a vital human touch.
