Classic Burger Joint announced the upcoming opening of its fifth outlet in Lebanon.
The eatery’s new branch, which will be open for business May 2012, will be located at the far end of Hamra Street opposite Applebee’s.
The eatery, famous for serving only flame-grilled burgers and accoutrements, has opened two new branches in the past year, one recently in Zaitunay Bay, the other on Uruguay Street in Beirut Central District.
Classic Burger opened its first shop in Lebanon in April 2010. It already has branches in Sodeco and Jal el Dib.
According to Classic Burger Joint owner, Donald Batal, Hamra is the intersection of a business center, a university hub, and a residential area. “Demand in Hamra is always high,” he said. Batal said that around $250,000 has been invested in the Hamra branch.
Batal said that a new Classic Burger branch will be opened in the upcoming ‘Le Mall – Debayeh’. He also said that negotiations are underway for franchising the Classic Burger brand into emerging markets, mainly in MENA countries.
