Berytech's startup acceleration program to inject up to $25,000 per innovative idea

Business incubator Berytech has launched the second phase of its technology startups acceleration program. Dubbed ‘Seedup Your Startup’, the program targets innovative ideas, projects, and early stage startups in the technology field.
If found eligible, each project would receive up to $25,000 from the program, in addition to six months of incubation services and mentoring from Berytech in exchange for a 15 percent stake in the project. Projects enrolled in the program have the option of obtaning further funding from the Berytech Fund, which could amount to $1.2 million in total.
Interested entrepreneurs may apply for the program before April 20. Shortlisted candidates may pitch their ideas at the Berytech Pitch Fest to be held during the four-day Business Entrepreneurship Forum to run from April 26 to 29 at Biel.
Berytech was created in 2000 as the first technological pole in Lebanon that provides a favorable environment for the creation and development of startups. Shareholders in Berytech include Bank of Beirut, BankMed, Byblos Bank, Audi-Saradar Investment Bank, Crédit Libanais Investment Bank, Indevco, and Université Saint-Joseph (USJ).
