NNA said that a man who entered the bank’s premises claiming he wanted to exchange $400 to the local currency, managed to rob $6300 while the employee was doing necessary phone calls to complete the operation.

The employee gave the man’s descriptions to the police who are searching for the suspect, NNA said.

In related news, gunmen entered the Western Union office in Haret Hreik, West of Beirut and robbed $7000 after threatening the employee Ali Fouani.

Fouani gave the suspects’ traits to the police who are searching for the robbers who managed to escape, NNA said.
