The Midtown Hotel, a four-star property in Hamra, was recently relaunched under a new management.

The hotel is now owned by Midtown Hotel sal, a new company chaired by Fadi Saab. The company’s majority shareholder is Syrian-German investor Yassin Dogmoch, chairman of the Dogmoch Group. The total investment is around $20 million.

Midtown Hotel has 77 rooms and five suites. It includes conference rooms, a gym, and a roof-top swimming pool. The hotel opened its doors last month.

Midtown Hotel was founded in 2010 by Walid Assaf, chairman of Société Moderne pour le Commerce (the Pepsi franchise holder and bottler in Lebanon).

“Though the hotel is rated as a four-star hotel, it offers services that match those offered by five-star properties,” according to Midtown Hotel’s new general manager Bassam Zeidan.

Zeidan said that the hotel’s location in Hamra makes it attractive for foreign tourists.
