AUL to move from Hamra to Cola

University headquarters to relocate to new $60-million-campus in July

The AUL (Arts, Sciences, and Technology University in Lebanon) will relocate its headquarters from Hamra to a newly built campus in Cola, Beirut, this July . 

Professor Charif Chehab, director of external relations at AUL, said the construction of the campus cost around $60 million, including the cost of the land.

Built over a total area of 27,500 sqm, the new campus will host around 3,500 students.

Chehab said that the university is also planning to build student residences near the Cola campus. 

Established in 2000, AUL has two campuses, one in Beirut, and another in Jadra near Saida. It also has study centers in Sin El Fil, Kaslik, Chtaura, and Qalamoun. 

Chehab said that future plans include building a third campus in the North.

Previously known as BCU (Business and Computer University College), AUL earned its accreditation in 2007.

The university chairman is Professor Mustapha Hamzeh, and its director is Professor Adnan Hamzeh. The owners include Jamal Jarrah, Ghazi Zoueiter, Ghazi Yousef, Mostapha Alloush, and Paul Kibbi.
