Cabinet approves $16mil crisis funds

Cabinet increases budgetary allocation for the disabled

Wednesday's Cabinet session approved a number of decisions, these including:

•Opening special accounts to make urgent payments in times of crisis for each of the following:
-LL15 billion for the army
-LL7.5 billion for the Internal Security Forces
-LL1.25 billion for the Ministry of Education to convene the official exams
- and LL700 million for the maintenance of equipment at the Ministry of Finance.

•Transferring a LL2 billion treasury credit to the Camil Chamoun Sports City.
•Offering treasury credits to some public hospitals.
•Increasing the budget allocated for supporting persons with disabilities starting this June
