Sadapack, a local hair and body care products' manufacturer, is building a new factory in Jiyeh. Construction is expected to be complete by the end of this year. The building covers an area of 15,000 square meters. “This industry requires large spaces and continuous improvement to keep up with developments and cater to consumers’ needs,” said Sami Daher, general manager of Sadapack.
Investment in the new facility totaled $17 million.
“The new factory is expected to raise production capacity by around 80 percent,” said Daher. The company exports up to 70 percent of its products to Arab countries, mainly to Gulf countries, as well as to Europe, Australia, and Canada. The rest of its products are distributed locally.
Sadapack currently has 85 employees. “This number will rise to 110 once the project is finalized,” said Daher.
Sadapack has three main brand names: El Sada, Spike, and Elegance. It has around 80 different products under these brands. The factory also manufactures products under private brands for other companies.
