37 percent of mobile handsets in Lebanon are smartphones, survey

The Arab Advisors Group concluded a survey of cellular users in Lebanon probing smartphones adoption and usage. The survey revealed that 37.1 percent of the total cellular handsets in Lebanon are smartphones. It found that 63 percent of smartphone users use applications. The majority of those prefer application in the English language.
The survey was conducted during March and April of 2012.
