Online portal for tax inquiries activated

Inquiry on built property tax now available
through Ministry of Finance web page

The Ministry of Finance has launched an online inquiry system for built property tax on its web page (www.finance.gov.lb). The system allows citizens to access information about the tax payment process.

The online portal will be used at a later stage for settling the built property tax owed electronically using a credit card.

From September 1, taxpayers will be able to register online through the tax information center.
Each registered taxpayer will be given an 'e-Pin'. Taxpayers will use the e-Pin to access, follow up, and monitor their online accounts.


Later, the MoF plans to add an online tax declaration system for the value-added tax.
