Music producer Michel Elefteriades will be opening a second branch of his famous Beirut-based live music club, ‘Music Hall’, in Dubai.

The new venue will be located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah Island, at a close distance from the Atlantis resort, within the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel.

Elefteriades said the new Music Hall will have the largest stage in the Middle East, with an area of 500 square meters. “The Dubai branch is a replica of Lebanon’s Music Hall but offers a larger space and an international cuisine to cater for the UAE clientele,” said Elefteriades. The new venue will be able to accommodate up to 2,000 seated people.

Each Thursday, Friday, and holiday night, Music Hall will present at least ten successive multicultural live stage performances. The acts will cover a wide variety of music styles, from Middle-Eastern to Russian, Rock to Gipsy fusion with French and American Pop, as well as Salsa, Indian, and Persian.

Elefteriades said that the venue will have a multifunctional space. “It could host tables and chairs, and could be used as a standing area for concerts and all performing arts.”

According to Elefteriades, investment in the project is valued in millions of dollars. “Leasing rooms for performers for one year costs some $400,000,” he said.

Music Hall was launched in Beirut in 2003 by Elefteriades Productions.
Elefteriades said he is considering exporting the Music Hall concept into Europe as well. “We plan to create a Music Hall in every capital in the world, and setting up one in London is currently under study.”
