Local patisserie chain Abdul Rahman El Hallab will expand its local presence through a new branch on the Jounieh highway by end-June 2013. The chain has five local branches in Tripoli, Sin El Fil, Akkar, Kousba, and the Airport’s Duty Free Zone. The company is also present in Saudi Arabia through a franchised branch.

“Based on the market studies we did, we have a list of local regions we plan to expand our reach to in the future,” said Ziad Jebara, Marketing Manager at Abdul Rahman El Hallab. “Our priority for 2013 is to open an outlet in Jounieh and another outlet in Karout Mall, next to Galerie Semaan,” Jebara said. He said the new branches aim to satisfy the high demand on the Hallab concept across different regions.

The Jounieh branch will have a total space of 400 square meters and will offer the patisserie’s full range of products. The branch is owned by the Abdul Rahman El Hallab Company, with an investment of around $600,000.

The company will stick to a steady expansion plan despite current instabilities, according to Jebara: “We know the local situation has its ups and downs but we still have many reasons to keep on expanding.”
