The United Arab Emirates (UAE) have renewed their one-year-old travel ban on Lebanon. This is the fourth travel warning issued by the UAE government since the beginning of the conflict in Syria.

The UAE’s foreign ministry said holders of diplomatic and special passports should obtain prior permits whenever they have to visit Beirut. Regular UAE citizens still wishing to visit Lebanon are required to sign a waiver at the airport saying they assume full responsibility for any unpleasant consequences resulting from their visit.
