Salameh Design, manufacturer of tile adherents, stamped concrete, and decorative stones, said it plans to expand its factory in Choueifat. Wissam Mahmoud, owner and General Manager of Salameh Design, said: “We have just finalized a market feasibility study, and we decided to expand our factory with the purpose of increasing production.”

The additional output will be dedicated to export markets, Mahmoud said: “Our current production is only for the local market, but with the expansion, we will be tapping Arab and African countries.”

The factory’s annual production capacity is valued at around $400,000. Mahmoud said: “Once the new factory starts operating, the production will exceed $1 million per year.”

The area of the factory will increase from 500 square meters to 2,000 square meters. The cost of investment in the new facility will reach $500,000, excluding the land cost. Mahmoud said: “We intend to take an industrial loan through Kafalat to cover the budget.” The expanded facility will start operating one year from now.

Salameh Design is part of Salameh Group, which specializes in the import and trade of sanitary ware.
