The Ministry of Tourism (MoT) has awarded the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International (LBCI) and production firm Star Wave, from Choueri Group, the concession for organizing the Miss Lebanon beauty pageant for the next five years.
“The MoT renewed the contracts with LBCI and Star Wave,” said Nada Sardouk, Director General of the MoT. She said that both companies have been organizing the Miss Lebanon contest for the past 15 years.
LBCI and Star Wave will also be establishing the Miss Lebanon Academy. “This institution will be in charge of preparing Miss Lebanon contestants to represent the country on an international scale,” Sardouk said. The Miss Lebanon Academy project will be launched within a year.
“The budget for the project has not been determined yet, but funding will be entirely covered by the organizers,” Sardouk said.
