Economic Bodies call for implementing Baabda Declaration

The Economic Bodies met on June 19 to follow up on the conference held at the BIEL center last week to discuss the consequences of the current economic slowdown and geopolitical instability.

The Economic Bodies called again for new measures to save the economy. They appealed to President Michel Sleiman to accelerate the implementation of the Baabda Declaration’s recommendations. The meeting was kept open in order to take appropriate decisions in this situation.
