Faubourg Saint Jean granted
25-year investment contract

Faubourg Saint Jean, the commercial center located near Sayyad roundabout in Hazmieh, is planning to create a specialized home mall for furniture and fittings. The center will have a gross leasable area of at least 9,000 square meters.

The center, which currently hosts Bou Khalil supermarket, has renewed its contract with the Maronite Waqf. The old contract was scheduled to end in 2015. The center was granted a contract for another 25 years.

Restoration and expansion works, which will take two years, have already cost $6 million. The center's administration is currently in the process of appointing contractors to work on the building’s interior.
