FFA Private Bank co-financed the movie ‘2 Guns’, starring Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg, showing next week in local theaters. Last year, the bank had completed a private placement for the Hollywood action-comedy motion picture, through fund raising among their clients and other investors.
‘2 Guns’ required a budget of $84 million. Other investors included Envision Entertainment, Dubai Media LLC, and Aquarius Media Ltd.
‘2 Guns’ is a story about undercover agents and drug cartels, based on a comic book by Steven Grant. The movie is directed by Baltasar Kormákur.
FFA Private Bank is also co-financing Salma Hayek's production of an animated movie based on Gibran Khalil Gibran's best-known work, ‘The Prophet’, coming in 2014.
FFA Private Bank, specialized in Wealth Management, Capital Markets and Investment Banking, is headquartered in Beirut, and also manages operations in the UAE through its fully owned subsidiary located at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC).
