Local accelerator Seeqnce has officially changed its name and identity to ‘Alice’, an all new web product that ‘de-risks startup investment’, according to its new slogan. It is now open for angel investors and venture capitals in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Their offices in Hamra were replaced by a web presence. Alice will help increase the accelerator’s capacities, which were limited to their physical presence.

The management of the accelerator said they will now be able to scale their acceleration model to serve more entrepreneurs and startups, instead of limiting their action plan to the eight finalists of their yearly competitions.

Scheduled for public release in October 2013, Alice will help startups and investors find a common ground. This will lead to more investments and encourage entrepreneurship.
