Voice of Lebanon partners with Sky News Arabia

News broadcasted live from TV’s Dubai studios

The local radio station Voice of Lebanon (VDL - Ashrafieh) announced a media partnership with Sky News Arabia.

VDL has acquired the exclusive rights for Sky News Arabia locally. The radio station will broadcast news briefs live from the Sky News Arabia studios in Abu Dhabi, throughout the week, starting from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Sam Menassa, General Manager of VDL, said that up to six international news briefs will be transmitted on a daily basis. “The broadcast started last Monday and we will announce it officially very soon.” He said that the partnership was initiated by both parties.

The agreement will offer VDL the opportunity to provide its audience with a valuable media service, thanks to the international news team at Sky News Arabia. It will also allow the radio station to develop its presence on the Arab media scene, while cooperating with a renowned media site.

“We will be enhancing our collaboration with Sky News further, and we might work on a whole news broadcast segment with potential political commentaries.”

Sky News Arabia is currently developing its cooperation network by securing agreements with different Arab and international media.
