Local mobile operator Touch will inaugurate its new call center in the Beirut Digital District (BDD) on Bechara El-Khoury street, by end-November 2013.

“We have moved our call center and around 120 customer service agents from the Touch administration building to the BDD1499 building,” said Nadim Khater, Chief Commercial Officer at Touch.

Moving to the BDD will allow the company to benefit from an advanced infrastructure and high-speed Internet connection, and grow within an innovative environment for information and communication technology (ICT).

Two months ago, Touch launched the first mobile web TV application for video-on-demand and other features. It has also been working on its own App Store to host local developers’ apps. The operator’s Touch Cloud web services allow developers to build web and mobile apps in a fast and reliable way.

Touch had moved into the BDD since 2012. It had been informally using the new premises for technical tests related to equipment and infrastructure.
