Le Maillon Group launches fifth property

Company eyeing expansion in Dubai

Cinco Lounge is a new gastro pub and a fresh cocktail bar with a Peru inspired concept. It is located in Sofil Center, Achrafieh.

The place is owned by Le Maillon Group, which already owns and operates four other properties: Le Maillon Café in Zalka, Le Maillon Restaurant in Ashrafieh-Sofil Center, Gada by Maillon, the day delivery central kitchen of the group, and Le Maillon Club, also located in Sofil Center.

Le Maillon Group is founded and owned by Dr. Joseph Azoury and a group of 12 other physicians.

Cinco offers an Asian fusion cuisine, in a 250 square meter space on the ground floor of the building, with a 120 guest capacity.

Wissam Maalouf, Operations Manager, said that the overall investment in the new property reached around half a million dollars.

According to Maalouf, Le Maillon Group’s investors were not disheartened by the current state of instability. “We are committed to empowering our hospitality sector. So far, we have been successful, especially that we are led by a team of young enthusiastic investors.”

The company is currently reviewing additional projects. An outdoor club is expected to be launched this summer, Maalouf said. “We are also exploring opportunities in Dubai, and we will be exporting our local concepts.”
