Century Motor granted
new Hyundai dealership

 

The Hyundai Motor Company has granted the Century Motor Company sole distributorship of Hyundai Heavy Industries construction and forklifts in Lebanon. Century Motor is already the dealer of Hyundai passenger cars.

The company will launch its new range of equipment and machinery on January 9 at its Zalka showroom. It will dedicate 1,000 square meters for the display of the heavy vehicles. The new Hyundai Heavy Industries range will include excavators, crawler excavators, wheel excavators, wheel loaders, backhoe loaders, skid-steer loaders and forklifts of different sizes. It will also provide spare parts and services of specialized engineers.

“Despite the stagnating economic situation in Lebanon, we have decided to focus on the future, which appears more promising,” said Ghassan Gharzeddine, General Manager, Century Motor Company.

The newly granted distributorship will also target industrial companies that use forklifts, such as wood, food and any company with large supplies, in addition to contractors of construction works. “We will be focusing on the after sales service, which is more important than the sale process itself,” said Gharzeddine.

The company will offer credit facilities through banks, ranging from one to five years.
