El-Hajjar Enterprises Company (HEC) launched this month Greenville, a gated community development in Nabay, Metn.
Originally the project was earmarked for Roumieh, but the developer failed to obtain the approval of the municipality.
The original project has been enlarged, according to Karim Hajjar, Chairman of HEC. “The number of units was raised to 170 units divided into 20 blocks,” he said. Overall investment was also raised to reach $55 million.
The project includes an eco-friendly village. Roads are lighted with solar power. Hajjar said: “All units will also be prewired for solar installations.”
Greenville stretches over 20,000 square meters of land.
Hajjar said: “We created children’s playground, rest areas, and 75 visitor parking spaces.” A pharmacy, minimarket, gym, and year-round security are added amenities.
Prices start at $1,400 per square meter. Sizes of apartments range between 120 and 160 square meters. “Homebuyers are given a financing facility where they pay a ten percent down payment and are exempted from registration. Installments are paid over 30 years with a 2.5 percent interest throughout the loan period,” he said.
HEC Contracting will handle the project’s development.
