Boutique hotel to open in Monot

First local affiliation to luxury chain

O Monot, a boutique hotel, is set to open on June 1st on Monot Street. It is owned by local company Société Aret, chaired by businessman Ghazi El Achkar.

O Monot is the first local hotel to join the UK-based international hotel management chain Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH). The chain has a network of more than 520 hotels in 70 countries.

“This fact gives us a great push to tap the market strongly and confidently, especially that the SLH chain is marking its first entry into the local market through O Monot,” said Camille Geha, General Manager of the hotel.

The hotel offers 41 rooms, including four suites over ten floors. It has a rooftop swimming pool and a gourmet restaurant.

Geha said that there is a need for boutique hotel concepts in the local market, and that the hotel is ready for the competition.
