Two local start-up enterprises have won the first two prizes during the latest edition of the ‘Intel Berytech Innovation Challenge’ (IBIC), part of the Intel Global Challenge. The program is a joint partnership between Intel and local business incubator Berytech. The winners will represent Lebanon in the regional final in Bahrain scheduled Sept.1-3.

The first prize went to ShopBuilder, an online platform that allows merchants to build their own e-commerce website, to promote and sell their products and services in an efficient way. The second prize went to Ashabona, a platform offering the latest development in modern technology to create adapted games and content for education, using Arabic language, and engaging with students through an interactive and fun teaching process.

Winners will receive support from the Berytech incubator.
