Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) was awarded the Association of MBAs (AMBA), an international accreditation for MBA and EMBA programs.

Nancy Jabbour, Program Manager at ESA, said: “This accreditation is proof that the level of education is of high quality.”

The AMBA accreditation is granted based on strict international standards and assigns a quality label to the best business schools and universities. Over 100 quality criteria are examined, and the accreditation is only awarded to the programs that meet all these criteria.

Jabbour said: “This accreditation will create new employment opportunities for our graduates, as some international companies search for these accredited certifications. It will also increase their salaries.”

Stéphane Attali, Managing Director of ESA, said that the support of ESA’s founding members, Banque du Liban, the French Embassy in Lebanon and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris Ile-de-France have made this success possible.

Attali said: “This accreditation is a benchmark for ESA in its strategic goal to become the best business school in the region, offering ever-innovative programs, reflecting the realities of the corporate world.”

Jabbour said that ESA is studying the possibility of raising tuition fees for the MBA and EMBA programs after gaining this accreditation the next year.

Only 210 business schools and universities in 52 countries hold such accreditation, including ESCP Europe, HEC Paris, INSEAD and the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM).

ESA is the first institution in Lebanon and the second in the region to receive this distinction.
