Developers of Uruguay Street expand their business

A pub/bar complex is under development in Dbayeh, and will be ready in late spring of 2015.

Venture Group, co-founded by Rabih Saba and Marwan Ayoub, owns the complex. It is the same company that developed Uruguay Street, and is in the process of building the restaurant complex in Hazmieh, expected to be completed next year.

The Dbayeh complex will consist of 11 bars and five restaurants. “It is a mix of the Uruguay Street and Hazmieh concepts,” said Saba.

Investment in the project is $4.5 million. It occupies 4,200 square meters, with a built-up area of 1,200 m2. “We put a big accent on landscaped outdoors and terraces in our developments,” he said.

“We believe Dbayeh is a mature area, in terms of F&B, but we will leverage the F&B and nightlife experience there,” he said.
