opens in Hamra

Makdessi street project home to pubs and restaurants

The Courtyard, a $15 million restaurant and pub complex located on Makdessi Street in Hamra is open.

Owner Ihsan Baalbaki formulated the concept in 2012 and initiated development, a year later.

The 1,300 square meter project is made up of three levels, each 627 m2.

The complex consists of four ground level outlets: Walkman, a pub-restaurant with an 80s theme, Bistro Bar which serves international cuisine and turns into a pub at night, La Palma, a Latino pub serving Mexican food, and Main Street, which relocated here. There will also be a restaurant concept, which is still under negotiation.
