Warwick Stone 55 hotel opens
Hotel chain will further expand its local network

Warwick Stone 55, a hotel under the management of the international chain, Warwick International Hotels (WIH) opened this month in Zalka.

Stone 55 is the third hotel for WIH, after Warwick Pangéa Beach Resort & Spa and Warwick Hotel Palm.

The four-star boutique hotel consists of 46 rooms and suites. Investment in the property is around $15 million.

The hotel is owned by brothers Nabil, Sami, Abdo, and Joseph Azar.

Jamal Serhan, WIH’s Chief Operating Officer for the MENA region said that the company is looking to have a well established presence in Lebanon with additional developments being foreseen.

WIH was launched in 1980 with the purchase of Warwick New York, a hotel originally built by William Randolph Hearst. The WIH Group now includes more than 55 hotels, resorts and spas worldwide, located in city centers and resort destinations in the United States, Caribbean, Europe, Asia, Bali, the South Pacific, the Middle East and Africa.
