Restaurant cluster developed in Dbayeh

‘Enab’ to be the anchor tenant

Zahi Rizkallah, founder of Enab, a restaurant in Mar Mikhael, will open a restaurant cluster in Dbayeh, next November. The project is near the Naccache Bridge.

It will occupy a 3,000 square meter plot of land and a 1,400 m2 built-up area. Along with a new branch of Enab, the concept will involve six restaurants serving Italian, Peruvian, International, and French cuisines, along with a sandwicheria, a café similar to the Al Mandaloun concept, and a bar. Rizkallah said that renowned Beiruti labels will be opening in the cluster, but brands will be revealed at a later stage. Investment in the project is around $4 million. Architects Joe Chartouni and Hala Rizkallah are the project designers.

Rizkallah said that they did not name the project, leaving this task to visitors. “We hope that this cluster will be the ‘place-to–be’ and our clientele will choose its preferred name.”

Rizkallah said that Dbayeh and Metn benefit from a high rate of visitors. “It is a strategic location with a large catchment area: People from Kesrouan, Metn, and Beirut would go to a nice place in Metn,” he said. “We felt the area’s vibe and wanted to be part of this activity and dynamism,” he said.
