Debbane elected Chairman of Lebanese Italian Business Council

Raphael Debbane, Chairman of Debbane Group and Head of the Agricultural Committee at the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Beirut and Mount Lebanon (CCIABML), was elected Chairman of the Lebanese Italian Business Council.

“The council’s main objective will be to strengthen trade relations between both countries, through sustainable cooperation between business entrepreneurs,” said Debbane. The council will encourage joint ventures in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). Debbane said that Lebanon will play an important role as a gateway for Italian companies to the Middle East.

Giuseppe Morabito, Ambassador of Italy, said that the council is important for developing economic relations between both countries. “We rely on this council to improve bilateral ties,” he said.
