‘Champs’, a large sports complex, is expected to open next summer in Furn El Chebbak.

The project is co-owned by real estate developers Jaber Group (Yassine and Kamel Jaber), the owners of the Lahoya chain, and basketball star player Fadi El Khatib.

Champs is being built on a 14,000 square meter plot, with a total built-up area of 25,000 m2. When completed, it will consist of two basketball courts, four mini football courts, a spa, physiotherapy center, a kids’ area, a prominent sportswear retail shop, and laser game courts. It will also have a branded restaurant. “We are negotiating with four famous brands in order to choose our tenant,” said El Khatib.

The $10 million complex will also host a special hotel dedicated to academy training camps. It will have eight rooms for 45 guests. El Khatib said that the concrete works have been completed, and that they will be moving on to the finishing and interior design soon.
