Construction block manufacturer opens in Koura

Buna W Mabani, a newly established company, began operations in its concrete products factory this month in Kferkahel-Koura.

The factory will produce insulated blocks, precast lentils, balustrades, and decorative blocks. It has a production capacity of 18,000 blocks per day, making it the largest construction block manufacturer. The second largest, Zerock, has a capacity to produce 11,000 blocks per day.

“After four months of research and development, we acquired patents to come up with new products,” said Nasri Mouawad, Buna W Mabani Chairman.

The 14,000 square meter factory has a built up area of 1,500 m2. It purchases its cement from Cimenterie Nationale.

Investments reached $1 million and the factory employs 32.
