The forum, in its very first edition, brings together 500 investors, internet and technology specialists, professionals and entrepreneurs who will hold discussions on the emerging opportunities in the Arab web business.

The event is organized in collaboration with the Central Bank of Lebanon, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), and the Arab ICT Organization (IJMA3).

Several discussion panels are being organized during the two-day evconference. Following the opening ceremony, the Ideathon and Start up Demo panels took place.

At the Ideathon pitch- Ten different entrepreneurs presented their own ideas for 2 minutes. A panel of VIP Judges will choose three winners who will get $2,500, $1,500 and $1,000 as a seed grant to help them build a prototype of their product Sponsored by Google.

The Startup Demo panel also took place in first day. The panel aimed to support early-stage startups from across the region; each startup had 5 minutes on stage to showcase its product and convince the audience and judges.
