The discussions focused on the revival of the draft agreements signed earlier between both countries to organize the flow of goods and passengers through the border and to facilitate procedures for the entry of both Syrian and Lebanese trucks through the border line.

Talks also involvedthe possibility of establishing joint shipment ventures, signing new shipping agreements, and the launch of the "air taxi” project between the Middle East Airlines and the Syrian Airlines.

The Minister also discussed the railway project, and the singing of a MoU to recognize mutual accreditation for the certificates of marine workers.
