Association showcases Lebanon’s old coins at Beirut exhibition

The organizers of a numismatic exhibition in Downtown Beirut suggest Lebanon use coins to lure tourists. A three-day exhibition of coins, banknotes and stamps, which began Tuesday at the Monroe Hotel, welcomes the region’s numismats or currency collectors as well as students looking to rediscover the Arab world’s history through money.
