SFD approves new loan to Lebanon
The loan will finance establishment of the Lebanese Uni Campus in Tripoli

“The new loan is an additional loan provided by the Fund and it is worth $25 million,” said Ali bin Awad al-Asiri, the Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon. “This loan in one in a series of assistance provided by the Saudi government to Lebanon,” he said.
The Minister of Finance, Raya El Hassan, said that this loan will be allocated to reforms that the government plans to carry out in the education sector.
SFD is a government owned institution that provides assistance for developing countries in terms of credit lines to finance development projects in those countries.
