Nakhoul relocates and doubles production

Nakhoul Corporation, a manufacturer of air distribution and flue system products, opened a factory in Gharzouz, Jbeil early this month.

The company’s factory in Zouk Mkael has been relocated to the 5,000 square meter facility in Gharzouz in order to double production. Nakhoul Corporation currently designs, manufactures and installs more than 200 projects per year.

Investment in the project is around $4 million, excluding the cost of the land.

“We are expanding to increase our exports and penetrate new markets,” said Aline Nakhoul, Business Development Manager. Nakhoul Corporation exports currently to the UAE, Kuwait, and some African countries.

“Our target is exporting 20 percent of the total production. We are spotting opportunities in the European markets,” Nakhoul said.

The new facility includes a Research and Development (R&D) department. It is EN ISO 9001 and CE certified.

The factory is expected to create around 40 full time jobs in the coming two years, including high-skilled jobs such as positions for industrial engineers.
