Demand for technical jobs is high

The Ministry of Industry and the Association of Lebanese Industrialists (ALI) announced that there are currently 3,850 job vacancies in industrial companies.

The Ministry and ALI have published a list including the 73 industrial companies that have vacant positions, as well as the positions themselves and the qualifications required. The list includes the contact details of the companies and where to send job applications.

The companies are from diversified sub-sectors including the food, plastic, chemical, and paper industries as well as printing presses, and industrial equipment and machinery companies. The companies include Malia Group, Indevco Group, Wooden Bakery, Gemayel Freres, and Al Rifai.

The vacancies include highly skilled positions including engineering, marketing and sales, accounting, and quality control. The majority of vacancies are for technicians, electricians, machine operators, and unskilled labor.
