T. Gargour and Fils, (TGF), announced that it has expanded a small service center for its commercial vehicles in the coastal town Bouar, near Byblos.

“We needed a new service center since we closed down our center in Chtoura; and we already had a small center in Bouar so we decided to expand it,” said Joelle Riachy, customer relations manager at TGF.

“The location is also important because it is on the route that links Beirut to the north and to Syria,” she said.

The Bouar center offers 35 new job opportunities and is able to service ten large trucks at a time. It is located on the highway, she said. “This is vital for the services that it offers that include testing the breaks of trucks by using sophisticated equipment, which would contribute to road safety,” she said.

 “The cost of expanding the Bouar center remains confidential”, she said.

TGF has another service center at Dora. “We plan to open service centers in other parts of the country, however, there are no immediate plans for such expansion,” she said.
